About Us
Happy Montessori House is an English based International Montessori Pre-school situated in the heart of Wilanów. We offer part time and full time places for children of all nationalities aged between 2 yrs to 6 yrs.
The Butterfy Class
Our Butterfly class caters for children from 2 to 3 years. The environment is bright and spacious with a warm atmosphere. It is equipped with early Montessori materials, as well as a variety of other age appropriate educational materials and toys. The materials provided aim to develop hand eye coordination, awareness of size, shape and color and encourage a sense of natural curiosity and exploration.
There is also a large focus on social skills with this age group and we aim to nurture the child to develop social awareness, independence and self confidence.
The Bee Class
The Bee class caters for children aged 3 to 6 years. The classroom is equipped with a wide range of Montessori materials covering all of the areas including practical life, sensorial, math, language and culture. In addition to this, each week, the children also take part in Spanish, art and craft activities, cooking, science, ballet, capoeira, gym, dance and music class.
Children are encouraged to be independent , to develop self confidence and to respect themselves, their peers and the environment
Mother & Toddler Playgroup
We also offer activities for toddlers from 18 months to 3 years. Each session lasts 1 ½ hours and has different emphasis i.e. arts and crafts, movements, sensorial, play, story telling and singing. This is time for children to play and also for adults socialise and to make friends. There is a craft table, reading corner, soft play area as well as many puzzles, toys and musical instruments.
Our Philosophy
We believe that every child has the right to develop at their own pace with guidance from their teachers. That is why we provide a safe and stimulating environment in which opportunities of social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth develop further. Of great importance to our preschool is multiculturalism, therefore cultures and customs of the children are respected and promoted.
